Technology is only a problem if we use it improperly...

There seems to be a lot of talk in the media about technology being bad for our kids, and that we need to take technology out of our schools and learning environments.

This is more of a "scapegoat" exercise in the "top 50%" of parents and educators laying the blame on technology for their incompetence over the past decade. They are correct that technology has been bad for their kids, but the blame is on the adults in the room, not the kids, adults who have had no clue how to manage technology and use it for good.

The proper use of technology, starting in K-6, is absolutely critical to ensuring the future success of Nepal. We need to lead the technology race with people who know how to use it for good. If we don't then we'll be controlled by people and countries who are using it to further their own selfish interests.

Technology is the answer to breaking out of the poverty cycle.

The Internet and AI are our only hope of doing it on the massive scale that Nepal needs to significantly increase the prosperity of its citizens.

A more calculated approach that uses technology for good, and integrates that technology with the real world, and teaches the upcoming generation to manage tech rather than letting it manage you, is the right solution for Nepal to help it lead the world.

We need to use technology for good.
